Confirmit appoints COO and head of legal
Rebecca Wright (pictured) will oversee the company’s legal strategies and compliance programmes as head of legal.
She was previously chief legal officer and company secretary at energy and commodity trading software business Brady PLC, and has also been legal counsel at Rosetta Stone.
Giles Whiting, who joins as COO, will oversee operational strategy. Before joining Confirmit, Whiting led SoftBank Group’s operating team and has also held executive roles at Medallia, Percepta, TTEC, and McKinsey & Company.
The two hires follow the appointments of Kyle Ferguson as chief executive and Tobi Andersson as chief product officer.
Ferguson said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Giles and Rebecca onto our team as we embark on this new chapter for Confirmit. We’re excited about the level of expertise and energy they bring to the table to help continue to grow our business.”
Confirmit runs platforms that allow data collection, analysis, visualisation and action management, and the company has offices in the UK, US, Australia, Germany, Norway, Russia, Canada, Sweden and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as partner resellers in Madrid, Milan and Tokyo.
Nordic private equity firm Verdane Capital IX acquired Confirmit earlier this year, merging it with data visualisation company Dapresy.
