ComScore launches multi-platform digital audience measurement

US — Digital analytics provider ComScore has launched a multi-platform digital audience measurement and media planning system in the States.

The Media Metrix Multi-Platform tool aims to deliver unduplicated accounting of audience size and demographics across desktop, smartphone and tablet platforms.

Originally only available in beta form with September 2012 data, the multi-platform builds on Media Metrix, Mobile Metrix and Video Metrix from ComScore’s audience analytics suite.

ComScore’s executive vice-president Jeff Hackett said: “This unified view of digital audiences not only establishes a new measurement standard for the industry, but also has the potential to unlock insights that can deliver substantial, currently unrealised value to our publisher, advertiser and agency clients.”
