This is the latest acquisition by the business which formed as a result of the merger of Next 15’s MIG Global’s data and market research agencies earlier this year.

ComRes was founded in 2003 and has specialised in public policy, communications strategies and corporate reputation.

At present, ComRes will continue to operate under its own name and remain in its Westminster office.

Roger Perowne (pictured, far left), global CEO at Savanta, said: “This is a step into our future. ComRes are genuine leaders in one of the highest profile sectors for insight. Having worked together for several years we are delighted to welcome their talented team. Their expertise complements our operational excellence, while sharing our entrepreneurial ethos.”

Andrew Hawkins (pictured, second right), chair of ComRes, added: “The Board recognised immediately the strategic fit with Savanta: our practice areas complement well and it was of paramount importance for us that we find a partner with whom we share the common values of integrity, excellence and working with our teams to ensure a really great place to work.”

Savanta was formed in February when Morar HPI, Viga, Charterhouse and Circle merged. Later that month it bought the research division of Wealth-X (formerly known as Ledbury Research).
