UK— Peter Harlock has taken on the job of chief executive of research agency ComRes, with founder Andrew Hawkins moving to the role of executive chairman.
Harlock served as CEO of Barclays Bank in India, and later Singapore, in the 1990s, and since then has held the top jobs at the London Apprenticeship Company and foster care company Pathway Care.
The company said the change will give Hawkins the chance to take a “more focused role” in supporting and developing its client portfolio.
Harlock described ComRes as “a great organisation, with a strong reputation and ethos for innovation, service and delivery”.
The agency was highly commended in the Best Agency category of last year’s Research Magazine Awards.
