ComRes’ Mludzinski promoted to research director
Mludzinski (pictured) was formerly the director of political polling. He will now oversee the firm’s political, media, sport, charity and government work.
He will report directly to chairman and founder Andrew Hawkins, who is now taking on a ‘more hands-on role’ following the recent departure of managing director Katharine Peacock, for whom there is no direct replacement planned.
“Tom has done a fantastic job of building on our two previous General Elections in 2005 and 2010," said Hawkins."2015 was a difficult one for the wider industry but we have worked hard to emerge positively and more recently we were delighted with the accuracy of our London Mayoral polling.
“Significantly, Tom has been given his new responsibilities at a moment of tremendous growth and progress for ComRes. We have had outstanding success in attracting and retaining public sector clients over the past 12 months, and with Tom’s oversight the political and social team has all it needs to continue to drive that high rate of growth throughout the remaining two years of our strategy and beyond.”
