US – Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of cable television company Comcast Cable, has made two senior promotions in insight and strategy.
Andrea Zapata (pictured, left), who joined the company in 2017, has been promoted to vice-president of data innovation and insights. She will oversee a newly formed team responsible for advanced analytics, measurement, insights, effectiveness and in-market research, and focus on developing innovative data-led tools.
Prior to Comcast, Zapata was vice-president of research and analytics at Vevo and led ad sales research at Hulu.
Kelly Perone (pictured, right) has also been promoted to vice-president of product strategy. She will oversee the new product strategy department and work with leaders across Comcast Spotlight. Perone joined Comcast Spotlight two years ago from Tremor Video.
Both are based in the company’s New York office, reporting to senior vice-president and chief operating officer Hank Oster.
Oster said: “By creating a focus on product strategy and a clear product roadmap with Kelly, and a focus on innovating with data with Andrea, we are poised to meet the growing needs of our clients.”
