CMB launches sister firm South Street Strategy Group

US— Custom market research agency Chadwick Martin Bailey has launched a sister company, South Street Strategy Group, that will offer a combination of marketing science services and strategic consulting.

J Mark Carr (pictured), formerly of marketing strategy firm CMG Partners, will serve as managing partner of South Street. CMB chairman John Martin and chief operating consultant T J Andre will serve as partners.

South Street will focus on “two distinct areas” which it says “particularly benefit” from the approach of combining consultants with marketing science techniques: growth strategies that help clients launch new products and enter new markets, and value delivery strategies designed to improve brand positioning and build loyalty.

Carr said: “South Street Strategy Group was founded with the belief that combining the best of strategy consulting with the best marketing science produces better, more practical and more differentiated strategies. We believe our process for developing and implementing these strategies – and more importantly, our results – compare very favourably to the best strategy firms.”
