UK – Chris Mundy, managing director at TV advertising body Clearcast, is leaving the organisation to become chief executive at custom statistical media research company RSMB.
RSMB’s current chief executive Steve Wilcox joined the business as a founding director in 1987. He will remain as CEO until Mundy has completed his agreed notice period, and will then become vice-chairman on a part-time basis.
Mundy joined Clearcast as its first MD in 2008. Prior to that, he was head of audiences at the BBC and head of research at Sky.
Peter Thomas, chairman at RSMB, said: “We are pleased that, after an extensive international search, RSMB is able to appoint Chris as the company’s next chief executive. He brings long experience in audience research and analysis, as well as a proven track record at Clearcast in running and growing a market leading business.”
Steve Wilcox said: “I am really delighted to welcome Chris as my successor as chief executive of RSMB and will much enjoy working with him during the transition.”
Clearcast is yet to appoint a successor for Mundy.
