Cision makes Akeroyd CEO
Akeroyd (pictured) takes over from Peter Granat who will become chairman of the Cision board of directors.
With more than 25 years’ experience in the industry, Akeroyd joins from Oracle Marketing Cloud where he was general manager and senior vice-president. Prior to Oracle he has held senior positions with Data.com, Salesforce.com, RR Donnelley and Jigsaw.
Cision is based in Chicago and among its products are PR Newswire, Gorkana, PRWeb and iContact brands.
