US – Consumer behaviour advisory business Circana, formed from the merger of The NPD Group and IRI, has appointed Hannah Kim as chief legal officer.
Kim joins Chicago-headquartered Circana’s executive leadership team and will oversee the company’s global corporate legal, compliance and privacy functions. She will also hold the role of secretary to the board of directors.
She succeeds Susan Bennett, who will continue as an adviser for an interim transition period.
Kim joins Circana from Neiman Marcus Group, where she was chief legal officer and corporate secretary. Previously, she was chief legal officer, corporate secretary and chief compliance officer of Energizer Holdings, and has held several senior legal roles at Bank of America and Lowe’s Companies.
Kirk Perry, president and chief executive officer, Circana, said: “Kim brings outstanding experience and perspective from her years leading legal strategy for some of the world’s leading retailers and brands, and we look forward to benefitting from her counsel and leadership as Circana continues to turn complexity into clarity for our clients.”
Information Resources, Inc (IRI) and The NPD Group rebranded as Circana in 2023, following their merger the previous year.
