Chinese launch for Experian’s Hitwise
The Hitwise service will blend data from opt-in panels with data from Chinese internet providers to provide a representative view of how people in the country use the internet. Data will be cleansed, aggregated and regionally weighted, the firm said.
Experian Marketing Services group president Matt Seeley said: “China represents a huge opportunity for many businesses, and as demand increases for digital-marketing differentiation, so too does competition.”
The Hitwise service is already running in Australia, the US, UK, Brazil, India, Singapore, Hong Kong, New Zealand, France and Canada.
