Brand Genetics makes two senior hires

UK – Insight and innovation consultancy Brand Genetics has appointed Lesley Salem as director of insight and innovation and Fiona Barnett as director of strategy.

Salem (pictured) joins the company from Razor Research, where she was senior research director. She previously led the children’s unit at Spinach Research and will be responsible for developing Brand Genetics’ expertise in kids research.

Tom Ellis, chief executive of Brand Genetics, said: "Lesley’s creative approach to insight and innovation will help us build enhanced propositions to address client challenges and drive our own growth."

Formerly associate strategy director at Big Green Door and board account planner at AMV BBDO, Barnett will help to strengthen Brand Genetics’ business as it expands into new categories and regions.

Ellis added: "Fiona’s ability to identify insights and deliver high-powered strategic thinking is highly valued by clients and will help fuel our continued growth."

Brand Genetics has offices in London and Sao Paulo
