SINGAPORE— Belgian social media monitoring firm Attentio has opened an office in Singapore that will act as a headquarters for its activities across Asia.
The firm, which is lead by CEO Amaia Lasa (pictured), will use the office as a sales and support hub for local customers while a team of multi-lingual social media analysts will be installed there to support international clients.
Attentio has also appointed Vincent de Gennaro as vice president of sales and marketing with a remit of handling business development and leading the firm’s go-to-market strategy.
De Gennaro joins from CRM software supplier Actuate where he was vice president for the EMEA region.
In November last year Attentio was awarded €525,000 in funding from the Brussels Regional Investment Company to fuel its international expansion.
