Birdie runs an artificial intelligence (AI) insights-as-a-service (IaaS) platform that helps CPG brands to get customer insights.

The platform does that by using AI and natural language processing to turn consumer’ online conversations into structured insights.

The seed funding round was led by Astrella, a Brazilian venture capital company.

The funding will help Birdie expand in the US, and there are plans to grow its sales and marketing teams and integrate with other data sources.

Alexandre Hadade, co-founder and chief executive of Birdie, said: “Our vision is to become a central system of intelligence for consumer insights executives and their teams.

“By consolidating data from enterprise marketing and data solutions and external sources into a central dashboard with actionable insights, we are helping consumer brands tackle the problem of ‘infobesity’ — or information overload — to optimise marketing and sales efforts.”
