BELGIUM— The Belgian Joint Industry Committee for media audience measurement, CIM, has signed up to use Nielsen’s TV Events broadcast monitoring system for four years, starting in 2013.
TV Events provides “precise emission logs based on the actual on-air content”, according to Nielsen.
CIM did not award a full television audience measurement (TAM) contract this year, and will instead extend the contract held by GfK, the existing TAM supplier, for a maximum of two years.
