Behavix agrees strategic partnership and makes senior hire

The agreement with Syno International will consist of integrating technologies and bringing Behavix’s behavioural data SDK, panellist profiling, fraud detection and behaviourally targeted surveys to Syno’s panel company network.
Hynes has also joined Behavix to scale the company’s audience, panel and app partnerships.
Prior to taking up his new role, Hynes worked at companies including Cint, Toluna, Dynata, Vision Critical and Greenfield Online.
Hannu Verkasalo (pictured), chief executive and co-founder at Behavix, said: “I’ve known Jokke, Lauri and the core Syno team since 2007 – when I was first in the world to start building mobile on-device metering panels.
“Back then it was Nokia and RIM smartphones, Angry Birds launching, and Nokia Ovi as the first smartphone app marketplace. Times have changed – but the value of behavioural data is higher than ever. We’re thrilled to partner with Syno International today to bring that value to every panel in their ecosystem.”
Jokke Nurminen, chief executive at Syno International, added: “By pairing the best panel ecosystem with the best behavioural data ecosystem, our clients can modernise their panels, boost monetisation and unlock novel market-research use cases at scale.”
