US— Online video network BBE has spun off Vindico, its video ad-serving, tracking and analytics platform, into a separate division headed by newly appointed president Matt Timothy.
Clients of the new Vindico Group include media agencies Starcom MediaVest, Universal McCann and Moxie.
“The power of online video isn’t just the audiences it reaches and how it reaches them,” said Timothy. “Its strength also derives from its ability to track ad campaigns and to precisely measure their effectiveness.”
Timothy’s 12-year career in digital media includes stints with CBS, Ziff Davis, and most recently, National Cable Communications, where he was SVP. He was also co-founder of Funnel Networks, a media analytics company that focused exclusively on the effectiveness of pharmaceutical advertising.
