Batchelor leaves System 1 amid leadership reshuffle

UK – Alex Batchelor, chief operating officer at System 1, is leaving the company and his role is being split into two specialist leadership roles.

Batchelor (pictured) has been COO for the last seven years. He will resign as director with effect from 30 June 2017. 

System 1 is promoting Emma Cooper to lead global operations and Rod Connors, who currently runs the System 1 Advertising Agency, to lead marketing for the group. 

"On behalf of the Group I would like to thank Alex for his invaluable contributions as a director and as COO of the Company’s threefold growth over the last seven years and we wish him the very best in his next challenge," said John Kearon, CEO of System 1.

The company has also announced its results for the 15 month period ended 31 March 2017 (having changed its year end from December to March). Revenues for that period were £39m, with a gross profit of £32.06m.
