Barc gets shortlist for technology advisers

INDIA — The Broadcast Audience Research Council (Barc) has shortlisted five media research agencies to advise it on what technology to use in its TV audience measurement system.

Barc has been tasked to introduce a new TV audience measurement system and Kantar Media, Nielsen India, Civolution, Cross-Tab and DA Media have been shortlisted.

According to reports, current television viewership-monitoring agency TAM Media Research has not made it to the shortlist.
