ANSER acquires IAT to boost analytics offer
Not-for-profit organisation ANSER runs government studies and analyses for national security, homeland security and public policy, while IAT provides advanced analytic methods for data collection, information analysis and decision making. The acquisition will strengthen ANSER’s data and information analysis offer.
Carmen Spencer, president and chief executive officer of ANSER, said: "This acquisition gives us greater depth and breadth of data and information analysis expertise as it applies to a specific sector of the federal government. That knowledge when applied more broadly, will enable us to better advise our government clients about the range of solutions at their disposal, thereby enhancing the value we deliver."
Kevin O'Connell, president and chief executive of IAT, added: "This is a great opportunity for the IAT staff to continue their superb support to existing clients while simultaneously gaining access to more opportunities, as well as analytic capability and expertise."
