US – Data analytics provider Alteryx has acquired data science software company ClearStory Data for an undisclosed sum.
Established in 2011, ClearStory Data is a continuous intelligence analytics platform for complex and unstructured data, offering automation through large-scale data processing platforms. The firm is based in Menlo Park, California.
The acquisition boosts Alteryx’s technology offer and technical expertise in data profiling and auto inference.
Dean Stoecker, co-founder and chief executive of Alteryx, said: "We believe the combination of the ClearStory Data and Alteryx teams will help us accelerate through the next wave of innovation in the data science and analytics market."
Sharmila Mulligan, chief executive and founder of ClearStory Data, added: "Combining our talent will help make smart data discovery and model building more accessible to the business."
