Alison David to lead consumer insight at Egmont UK

UK— Children’s publisher Egmont UK has appointed commercial director Alison David to the new role of consumer insight director.

David will work across all Egmont’s book and magazine divisions, reporting to Rob McMenemy who heads the firm’s UK business.

As well as having experience as a research user at magazine publishers IPC and Nat Mags, David has worked in agencyside research at Kantar company TGI, and ran her own qual research business, Simply Women.

She said: “Reading and buying habits are changing rapidly in the digital world and I’m looking forward to bringing together and building on the wealth of research and knowledge we have here at Egmont, to find new and exciting ways to encourage children to read.”
