Data analytics Financials News North America UK

UK/ US — Data intelligence company Adbrain has announced a $7.5m investment round and the appointment of Jason Atlas as chief technology officer.

Existing investors Notion Capital and Octopus Ventures have been joined by Cisco Investments in the latest round, which will be used to enable the company to increase its international scale.

Atlas has previously held technology leadership positions spanning big data, security and identity at Microsoft, Bloomberg and a number of start-ups.

"We are delighted to welcome Cisco Investments as a new Adbrain investor," said Adbrain CEO Gareth Davies. "As a worldwide leader in the Internet of Everything (IoE), their experience perfectly complements Adbrain’s focus on removing device, channel and platform silos in an increasingly diverse and fragmented technology landscape.

"This latest funding round is a strong validation of Adbrain’s growth trajectory, and we look forward to working closely with all of our investors to continue to deliver on the company’s vision of providing holistic, privacy-safe identity solutions for our customers."
