Act-On names Emea business lead

UK – Marketing automation platform Act-On has appointed John Pincott to lead its business in Europe, Middle East and Africa (Emea).

In his new role, Pincott (pictured) will focus on developing Act-On’s go-to-market strategy, build its sales team, work on the firm’s partner programme and support expansion plans.

Before joining Act-On, Pincott led Emea operations for technology businesses including Turning Technology, Conversica, Kibo Commerce and Shopatron.

He has also worked for the UK government on a multi-billion dollar tech project involving the Department of Education.

Act-On Software is a growth marketing automation company that uses customer data to help marketers expand their businesses and generate higher customer lifetime value.

Kate Johnson, chief executive at Act-On, said: “John’s vast expertise in scaling businesses internationally, his strategic vision and his unique leadership skills make him the perfect fit for us.
