Accenture invests in agentic AI firm

The agreement will combine Aera’s decision intelligence and Accenture’s AI-enabled supply chain capabilities to support their work in complex global supply chains in the consumer goods, technology, life sciences, mining, and oil and gas industries.
Aera uses agentic AI, a decision data model and real-time orchestration engines to help monitor changes across supply chains and improve supply and demand decision-making.
Chris McDivitt, global lead for autonomous supply chains at Accenture, said: “The speed at which decisions are required to balance costs and services is outstripping what manual, siloed processes can sustain. Our partnership with Aera Technology will enable highly resilient, AI-enabled supply chains.”
Fred Laluyaux, co-founder and chief executive at Aera Technology, added: “The opportunity in front of us is extraordinary. Decision intelligence is enabling a new operating model where intelligent systems manage complexity at speed and scale, and people focus on strategy and performance.”
