Accenture buys Dutch agency Storm Digital
Founded in 2006, Storm Digital’s services include data collection, audience analytics, search, social and programmatic advertising. The company has 90 staff in Amsterdam and Groningen, who will become part of Accenture Interactive following the deal.
The acquisition, the value of which was not disclosed, is the latest effort by Accenture Interactive to boost its programmatic offer, following its recent purchase of US digital media services firm Adaptly.
Ron Vrijmoet, head of Accenture Interactive, Netherlands, said: “The Storm Digital team and their robust capabilities will complement and enhance our presence in the Netherlands and inject a greater level of data-driven media experiences that we can deliver to our clients.”
It is the second acquisition Accenture Interactive has made in The Netherlands, following its purchase of Amsterdam-based mobile company Mobgen in 2016.
Viktor van der Wijk, chief executive, Storm Digital, said: “Joining Accenture Interactive enriches our team and clients with international scalable digital solutions.”
