Accenture, Avanade and Microsoft partner on reporting and data insights
Through the partnership, Accenture and Avanade are building a practice of professionals to help organisations plan, develop and deploy Microsoft Fabric, a platform that can be used to bring together data across an enterprise.
Accenture said the move will help organisations to boost their ‘data readiness’, make insights more accessible and create a foundation for AI.
New features as part of Microsoft Fabric include a security readiness assessment and a migration approach. The platform will now also offer and industry and functional tools for finance, customer sales and service, supply chain, manufacturing, retail and consumer packaged goods.
The companies have also launched a Microsoft Fabric training programme, as part of Accenture’s AI academy.

Accenture is also using Microsoft Fabric to offer insights about its employee experience, while Avanade is using it to widen access to enterprise data for more employees.
