Academics join IJMR editorial team
The IJMR publishes original research addressing challenges in market research and insight. Published every two months, the journal offers a forum for practitioners and others to share and discuss research applications, methodologies, new technologies, and strategic and management issues.
Paas and Tanusondjaja will support IJMR editor-in-chief Dan Nunan, sharing their international experience and subject expertise.
Professor Leo Paas is based at the University of Auckland Business School. After seven years working in industry, he held academic positions at Tilburg University and VU University Amsterdam in the Netherlands, before moving to New Zealand as professor of marketing at Massey University.
His research interests include marketing analytics, segmentation, large language models, respondent attention in online surveys, entrepreneurship in Africa and consumer responses to human advertising models.
Dr Arry Tanusondjaja, from the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute, Adelaide University, built his professional career in management roles within analytics and market research. His links with the profession include chairing the South Australia division of the Research Society. His research has focused on product portfolio management, consumer behaviour and media.
Jane Frost, chief executive, MRS, said: “These appointments bring valuable new expertise and international perspectives to IJMR’s editorial team. Leo and Arry will play an important role in maintaining the journal’s reputation as the leading applied research journal, ensuring it continues to deliver robust and practice-relevant insights to the global market research community.”
