Tapestry hires head of qual for North America

UK & US – Research agency Tapestry, part of Screen Engine/ASI, has appointed Phil Heuring as head of qualitative research, North America, expanding both its senior leadership team and its presence in the US.

Heuring joins Tapestry from Material, where he was senior vice-president, qualitative insights. He spent 10 years at Greenberg prior to its acquisition by Material.

During his career in research, UX and strategy, Heuring has held positions at 22squared, Leo Burnett, and Ogilvy. Based in the Bay Area, he has sector expertise spanning tech and AI, entertainment, gaming, financial services and CPG.

London-based Tapestry was acquired by entertainment market research company Screen Engine/ASI in 2021.

Ian Wright, co-founder and joint managing director, Tapestry, said: “Phil’s experience and expertise make him a fantastic addition to our senior leadership team, and this hire represents a real focus for us on strengthening our ability to successfully integrate qual and quant findings to help our clients make smarter decisions.”
