ABC appoints two board members
Chandler will be tasked with representing the needs of publishers, advertising technology providers, agencies and brands working in digital advertising in his new role, and has prior experience at the charity Mindshare.
Sinker has worked at the NMA for 17 years and will represent the needs of national, regional and local news media.
The two appointments replace Tim Elkington and Lynne Anderson as board members.
The ABC board oversees the effective running of the company to best serve the needs of the industry, and is made up of key representatives from agencies, advertisers, media owners and trade bodies, with board members nominated by industry associations the IPA, ISBA, NMA, PPA and IAB UK.
Simon Redlich, chief executive at ABC, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome James and Paul to the ABC board. Their expertise and understanding of the sectors they represent, will be invaluable in helping us continue to shape ABC’s products and services in line with the needs of media owners, agencies, brands and ad tech providers working in today’s dynamic media landscape.
“I’d also like to thank their predecessors, Tim Elkington and Lynne Anderson, for making such an important contribution to ABC’s evolution during their time on the board. We wish them all the best for the future.”
