ABC’s Simon Redlich re-elected IFABC president
IFABC is a global federation of bureaux members from 27 countries, offering a forum for organisations to share knowledge and develop approaches that support trust in media.
Redlich’s election was announced at the IFABC general assembly, held this year in Vienna, Austria. Redlich will now hold the position for a further two years.
Delegates representing the member audit bureaux voted on the IFABC presidency and executive board appointments.
Redlich said: “Over the last two years, I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with my fellow members on a number of initiatives to advance auditing and media measurement. It’s clear that by pooling our learnings and expertise we are able to find solutions more rapidly, which is essential in any fast-paced industry. I look forward to another two years of collaboration, as we focus on a new agenda to further advance transparency and accountability in media globally.”
Tom Drouillard, chief executive, the Alliance for Audited Media in the US and IFABC secretary, said: “Issues of accountability and transparency reach across borders, and with Simon’s approachable, collaborative attitude and years of experience driving media auditing innovations at ABC UK, IFABC is in safe, progressive hands.”
