UK – Research agency 7th Sense UK has been renamed as Lacuna Agency following a management buyout.
Lacuna Agency was formerly part of 7th Sense, a US-based research company that co-owned the firm, but is now wholly owned by UK founders Fergus McVey (pictured right) and Claire Harding (pictured left).
The newly renamed agency will retain its current team and will seek to expand its scope in Europe, Asia and the US.
Lacuna will continue to focus on its three areas of expertise – luxury, mobility (including automotive) and sport.
Fergus McVey, co-founder and chief executive officer at Lacuna, said: “With our growing business in the future of mobility and our luxury and sports expertise, the future is bright for Lacuna.
“Our name reflects our belief that what’s missing is so often the catalyst for what’s next. It’s never easy to uncover the unknown but what’s easy has never been our focus. We relish the opportunities ahead.”
Claire Harding, co-founder and managing director at Lacuna, added: “The growth trajectory of our agency is hugely exciting as is the start of the next phase of our development.
“We have an amazing, dedicated team who have worked very hard to allow us to reach this new stage in our agency’s life. A big thank you to the clients who have journeyed with us and to the new clients who have worked with us more recently. We look forward to many fascinating projects and successful partnerships in the future.”
