Prior to QualSights, McInerney (pictured) was CMO at performance marketing company Upshow, where she led the go-to-market strategy, including corporate marketing, content and SEO, product marketing, PR and events, inbound and customer intelligence.

Before that, other business-to-business marketing roles have included leading marketing at digital ocular telemedicine business Visibly.

Founded in 2012, QualSights, formerly Georama, is based in Chicago. The company's technology combines qualitative and quantitative research, including offline behavioural data collected using in-context video and passive internet of things (IoT) sensors.

QualSights recently raised $7.7m in Series A funding, led by venture capital firm 4490 Ventures.

Nihal Advani, founder and chief executive at QualSights, said: "As an established marketing executive, Lori’s wealth of knowledge, expertise, and go-to-market acumen will help scale the company across many areas and will further accelerate the growth of the business."
