US – Insights technology platform QualSights has appointed Smita Kamath to its leadership team as head of marketing.
Kamath (pictured) has previously held brand marketing, digital marketing and innovation strategy roles in companies including Mondelez and Nars, and was most recently head of marketing at startup beauty company Dermaflash.
At QualSights, Kamath will lead a cross-functional team to develop the company’s positioning and visual identity.
She will also work with the demand generation team to refine business development processes.
Nihal Advani, founder and chief executive, said: “Smita will be a valuable asset to our leadership team.”
QualSights, formerly Georama, was founded in 2012 and is based in Chicago.
