EyeSee secures €3m investment

BELGIUM – Behavioural research company EyeSee has raised €3m in private equity financing led by Belgian investment firms ING Corporate Investments and Smartfin Capital.

EyeSee will use the investment to support expansion into Latin America and Asia, expand its team and develop its behavioural research technologies.

Founded in 2013, the company has offices in New York, London, Paris, Ghent and Belgrade. Its services include eye-tracking, facial coding and virtual shopping. 

Bart Luyten, founding partner at Smartfin Capital, said: "EyeSee has all the assets needed for further growth. It is perfectly positioned to fully utilise its potential and confirm its leadership in behavioural marketing research."

Joris De Bruyne, partner at EyeSee, added: “The funds are paving the way for further technological innovations and a more modular approach. We also aim to reinforce our presence in sectors such as the retail sector, media and healthcare.”
