US – Advertising business Omnicom has reported worldwide revenue of $3.47bn in the first quarter of 2019, down 4.4% from $3.63bn in the same period the previous year.
The company said revenue change was due to negative foreign exchange rates, a decrease in acquisition revenue and an increase in revenue from organic growth of 2.5%.
In terms of organic growth of its business areas: advertising increased 5.1%; CRM consumer experience decreased 0.6%; CRM executive and support decreased 3.3%; public relations decreased 0.5% and healthcare increased 6.8%.
Regionally, the US increased 2%, the UK 1.3% with Europe up 4%. Latin America fell 3%.
