UK – Media agency Omnicom Media Group UK has appointed Henry Rowe and Laura Collins to help strengthen the firm’s digital, data and technology capabilities.
Rowe (pictured right) will become chief digital officer and has joined from digital market agency Theorem, where he oversaw client operations, client strategy, product strategy and international growth.
Rowe has also been managing director at Carat Digital and was founder of digital media consultancy and advisory business FaR Partners, which he sold to Theorem in 2015.
In his new role, Rowe will operate across all of Omnicom’s UK businesses, acting as chief strategy officer as well as chief digital officer, as well as supporting agencies on client transformation and leading development of end-to-end digital capabilities.
Collins (pictured left) has been named group performance director, and joined from Markle, where she was vice-president – head of media.
In her new role, Collins will work with agency teams to drive performance, and will report to Rowe.
Dan Clays, chief executive of Omnicom Media Group UK, said: “Henry brings deep technical expertise and experience through a strategic lens, and has operated in holding group businesses, independent, digital marketing services and consulted inside clients.
“Everyone he’s worked with – agencies, clients and partners – waxes lyrical about him, and he’s a strong believer in building brilliant cultures.
“I’m equally delighted to have Laura join us. She’s an exceptional talent, with real expertise, who understands both the needs of the agencies and clients – and is hugely passionate about talent and an inclusive culture.”
