Kadence opens new China and Philippines offices

ASIA – Marketing insight agency, Kadence International, has expanded its presence in Asia with new offices in Shanghai, China and Manila, Philippines.

In China, Cross Marketing China – belonging to Kadence’s Japanese parent company, Cross Marketing Group – has joined Kadence International and been rebranded as Kadence China.

Kadence China will be led by Kouei Kaku as managing director (formerly the managing director of Cross Marketing China) and Steven Zhou will be research director.

The Philippines office has been founded by Iris Lorenzo, who joins from SIS International Research where he has worked for four years leading its South East Asia business.

Greg Clayton, chief brand and marketing officer at Kadence said: “We’ve worked for years in China, supporting some of the biggest businesses in the world in better understanding how to enter, grow and succeed in the Chinese market. The opening of Kadence China means we can continue to do so with even greater scale.

“As for the Philippines, the strategic importance of the market within the SEA and indeed global insight industries cannot be over-stated, and access to their skilled, English-speaking workforce is going to allow us to develop scale to the Kadence business faster than we’ve been able to do to date.”
