US — Marketing and research technology firm Jibunu has launched RICK, a focus group facilitation tool that combines qualitative and quantitative approaches.
RICK stands for Roundtable Interview Conversation Kickstarter. It works by presenting focus group participants with quantitative questions; once all have answered, the results can then be displayed by the moderator to facilitate a discussion.
The data is also fed back to the viewing facility back room in real time and can be displayed in a number of formats, including graphs, word clouds and heat maps.
It also works when not all participants are in the same facility.
