Yahoo stopping analytics-only accounts

US— Yahoo is to stop offering analytics-only packages to customers later in the year, the firm has announced.

The company said that the change would affect many users who sign up for analytics-only accounts or use the Yahoo Web Analytics Consultant Network.

Yahoo will, however, “continue to support” certain other users, such as Yahoo Stores who have signed up to receive the analytics offering. For other users, data will become read-only at the end of August with two months’ worth of historical data.

People wishing to keep historical data have been advised to export it out of the Yahoo system.
