Kantar launches China mobile research panel
The firm said that industry demand for insight into the world’s biggest mobile market was the driving force behind the launch.
180,000 interviews per year will be carried out through the panel, with respondents drawn from tier one, two, three and four cities. The first results are expected by the end of July.
Comtech measures mobile phone behaviour, including purchases of phones and mobile phone bills.
Nic Lewisohn, MD at Kantar Worldpanel Comtech, said: “We are really excited to be the first to launch a continuous telecoms consumer panel in China, a market which can be hugely complex, but which presents a fantastic commercial opportunity for mobile brands.”
