Vision Critical named Jodene Vining as account director for Australia and New Zealand. She joins from M&C Saatchi.

Phoenix Marketing International (UK) appointed Maxine Harrington as research executive, from DMC Healthcare.

Lake Market Research (UK) promoted Adam Wyles to operations director.

Advaith, an Indian research data collection company, hired Pulse Group’s Jonathan Sheldrake as sales director and head of its new UK office.

Itracks (Canada) named Jeffrey Hayzlett, the former Kodak CMO, as chairman of the company’s advisory board.

MetrixLab (UK) appointed Chris Kingsland as head of the NPD and innovations division. He joins from Kantar Worldpanel.

Packaging and cleaning supplies firm Pollock Paper (US) hired Gretchen Minchew as market research analyst.

Michael Rodenburgh joined the Ipsos Open Thinking Exchange (Canada) as vice president of product development.

Metro Research (UK) promoted Alex Penciu to senior research executive and hired Joseph Mouratoglou, ex-TNS, as associate director and Robert Marshall as research executive.

The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) promoted Brian Markwalter to senior vice president, research and standards.

Sylver Consulting (US) hired Rebecca Kuchar as director of global insight and innovation.

Paul Campbell joined McCallum Layton as senior research consultant in the quant team. He previously worked for Cello and MRUK.

Majestic MRSS (India) appointed former Nielsen director Philippe Coqelle as vice president for the Asia Pacific, Middle East, India and Africa region.

Rentrak (US) promoted Michael Vinson to senior vice president of statistical analysis and Gordon Jones to vice president of OnDemand Essentials.

M3 Global Research (US) named Roni DasGupta, formerly of Research Now, and Dan Schmitt, ex-STR and SSI, as vice presidents of market research.

Software firm Askia appointed Dietmar Dzierzawa, ex-Voxco, to lead its new German office in Mannheim.

Geoff Walker joined electronics market researcher IMS Research (US) as principal analyst.

Jenna Mason, previously a UCB Pharma senior analyst, joined MarketVision (US) as research director.

Posterscope (US) named Clare-Marie Harris Panno as senior vice president and director of insight. She joins the out-of-home communications agency from Telmar.

InsightsNow (US) hired Deborah Potts as assistant director for qualitative insights and innovation.

Tim Riches joined The Leading Edge (Australia) from Futurebrand as Sydney managing director.

FreshMinds (UK) named Mike Granleese, Nicola Spitzer, Caroline Maricourt and Alex Rubner to its consumer team, Louisa Hunter, James Cope and Henry Palmer to its financial services and professional services team, and Danielle Kidd and Adam Wilson to its public services team.

Social media consultancy 90:10 Group (UK) named Steffen Hück, previously at German innovation agency Hyve, as director of innovation.
