Attentio acquires MR tech firm 365Research

BELGIUM— Attentio, a social media monitoring agency, has acquired Brussels-based market research technology firm 365Research to boost its core product offerings.

All 365Research staff have moved into Attentio’s offices, also in Brussels, and the two companies have started collaborating on a new dashboard product, which is set to be released in the spring.

Simon McDermott (pictured), Attentio’s CEO, said: “As most people in marketing and communications know, the market for social media insight has grown exponentially in the last couple of years but this is just the beginning, especially in Europe. Our clients need access to real customer insights from these sources and we look forward to continue building a great software-as-a-service dashboard for this purpose.”

365Research founder Colin Sanders has been given the role of chief product officer at Attentio. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
