New CEO at MR software firm Techneos

US— Mobile survey software firm Techneos Systems has appointed Dave King as its new CEO, replacing co-founder Mark Cameron.

King (pictured) was most recently CEO at wireless broadband firm MetroBridge Networks and worked at Hewlett Packard and Sequent (now part of IBM) earlier in his career.

Cameron said of his successor: “Dave has a proven track record that ideally suits the next stage of expansion for Techneos. With the explosive growth of mobile applications, Techneos needs a leader with significant experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies and operational processes.”

Techneos was co-founded by Cameron in 1998. He will stay with the firm in an executive and board capacity.
