US— YouTube has upgraded its analytics abilities with a new set of tools for users to understand who is watching their videos.
The YouTube Insight tool has been replaced today with the more advanced YouTube Analytics, which remains free to use.
It provides a quick overview of audience information, as well as more detailed information on audiences, including whether viewers are stopping videos before reaching the end.
“One of the great joys of a global platform is finding out that people from afar can relate, connect and appreciate your videos,” said YouTube product manager Ted Hamilton in a blog post.
