YouGov moves to new office in Mumbai

INDIA – YouGov has moved its Mumbai base to a larger premises in the city’s Oberoi Commerz complex in Goregaon.

The office will be a hub for YouGov’s research activities in India and will also house a new shared services centre to support the company’s operations globally.

The new hub is 30,500 square feet and YouGov said the move will create local job opportunities in data science, analytics and research. 

YouGov launched operations in India in 2018 and since then has grown its employee base by 400% and opened an additional base in Bangalore.

Yashwin Pangal, global head, Centre of Excellence, YouGov, said: “Our expansion into the new office in Mumbai represents an exciting chapter for YouGov in India. This investment not only reflects our dedication to the region but also to providing our teams with a state-of-the-art environment that inspires collaboration and innovation. Our new Mumbai office will be central to bringing our mission to life.”

Lynda Vivian, chief operating officer, YouGov, added: “As well as their importance in the region, our India operations are also a vital part of our growth and innovation journey globally. The extension of our presence enhances our ability to deliver meaningful insights across the world.”
