YouGov launches Norwegian FMCG panel

The panel will combine passive data collection from YouGov’s shopper panel with survey data covering 5,000 households to help capture consumer attitudes and observed behaviour across the Norwegian FMCG industry.
The Norwegian launch is part of a wider European expansion of YouGov’s data collection work, and also aims to support clients across multiple markets with comparable data.
Earlier this year, YouGov launched a shopper analytics platform, SimIT Web, based on YouGov shopper data. The platform offers FMCG retailers and manufacturers access to shopper insights across 16 European markets.
Stefan Heremans, president of YouGov Shopper, said the launch in Norway “marks a significant milestone in our Nordic expansion strategy” and would set the stage for the company’s growth across the Nordic region.
