US – WPP’s advertising agency Wunderman Thompson has acquired marketing technology consultancy XumaK.
XumaK, founded in 2004, focuses on e-commerce and digital experience and offers Adobe Experience Manager software and services. Its clients have included Digicel and MetLife.
The company employs around 60 staff in its Miami headquarters and two development centres in Guatemala and Colombia.
The acquisition is part of WPP’s aims to boost its technology offer. XumaK will lead Wunderman Thompson’s ‘experience technology capability’ in North America, WPP said. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
