WisdomAI, based in San Mateo, California, has developed an AI analytics platform for businesses to access insights from structured, semi-structured and unstructured data.

Nvidia’s venture arm NVentures participated in the funding round alongside previous investors Coatue, Latitude Capital, MadronaGTM Capital, Menlo Ventures and U First Capital. The funding brings WisdomAI’s total raised capital to $73m.

WisdomAI’s platform uses AI agents based on a semantic layer which defines metrics and maps relationships in data.

The company is using the funding to invest in areas including its AI agents and enterprise layer and embedding agents within organisations’ tools and work processes.

According to a blog post announcing the funding round by WisdomAI co-founder and chief executive Soham Mazumdar, the company wants to go beyond its original aim of democratising data and offer business users “an actionable strategy”.

Mazumdar wrote: “We want to help every data engineer, analyst and business leader evolve into this new AI-first paradigm with confidence.”
