JAPAN— Webtrends has opened an office in Tokyo under the leadership of Kazayuki Kimura, president of Webtrends Japan. He joined the firm earlier from Samuraiz, formerly a software business division of IT Frontier.
The web analytics software firm already boasts 400 enterprise clients in the country. It said the opening of an office in Japan would allow it to better serve local customers and technology and agency partners.
Webtrends’ vice president of business development James McDermott said: “There is a growing demand in Japan and throughout the APAC region for digital marketing technologies and expertise and Webtrends is best positioned to provide online marketers with the skills and technologies they need to be successful.”
Kimura joined the firm earlier this year from Samuraiz, formerly a software business division of IT Frontier.
